we have always prided ourselves in our ability to keep our clients as comfortable as possible during their visit. as our studios reopen, you will notice the following new safety protocol to ensure you feel just as comfortable visiting us during these unprecedented times. we know change can be scary, but don’t worry- you can still expect the same beautiful spray tans and the same top notch service from the same down-to-earth babes that made you fall in love with blushtan in the first place!
ARRIVAL + CHECK-IN
Services are strictly 'by appointment only' - no walk-ins please!
Only one guest is allowed in the studio at a time. Our waiting area is closed. Any guests you bring with you to your appointment will be asked to wait outside/in the car.
If you have been experiencing covid-19 symptoms, or have been in contact with someone who has been experiencing symptoms, please do not enter the studio- you can reschedule your appointment and will not be charged a cancellation fee!
Face masks are required to enter the studio. If you do not have a face mask, you may purchase a pretty pink one from us for $3!
You will be asked to wash your hands as soon as you enter the studio.
THE APPLICATION
As always, disposable foot coverings are provided. Disposable thongs, hair caps, nose plugs, lip protection, and eye protection will also be provided upon request.
Furniture has been removed from all spray rooms. Please bring a bag from home to hold your belongings during your appointment.
Barrier cream will be provided in a disposable cup instead of our typical pump bottles.
Extraction systems are used in every treatment room for proper ventilation. AC will be on and windows open where possible to increase air flow.
Your consultant will complete the drying process for you and shut off all equipment to prevent any contact with our machinery.
CHECK OUT
Retail products have been removed from the shelf and placed in a secure cabinet, however all of our skincare products are still available for purchase upon request. Simply ask your consultant if you would like them to pull anything out for you to take home!
Our checkout process will remain contactless. Credit card swipe machines will be kept on top of the front desk so you may swipe your own credit card if needed.
Gratuity can be submitted through Venmo or added to a credit card purchase. If you must use cash, please do your best to bring the exact amount.
The following measures will also be taken behind the scenes to ensure your safety:
Touchless dispensers will be used for soap and hand sanitizers.
Only 1-3 staff members will be working at a time.
All staff members have been trained on updated social distancing measures, safety standards and cleaning protocol.
All staff will be required to wear face masks at all times.
Each employee uses their own designated spray tanning gun/machine during their shift that they are required to clean/sanitize between every appointment.
Scheduling blocks will be added in periodically throughout the day to provide additional time for staff members to wash hands and clean/disinfect the studio.
All high traffic areas (door knobs, the front desk, credit card machine, computer keyboard, etc.) will be disinfected between every appointment.
